Kia ora koutou,

At ATMC NZ, our role is not just to provide you with knowledge, but to support your development as a person. With tools like ChatGPT making information more accessible than ever, what sets you apart are your personal qualities: how you interact with others, how you take responsibility, and how you show up.
We are therefore introducing a series of reminders and expectations designed to strengthening those professional behaviours — starting with punctuality.
From Wednesday 4th June onward, your lecturer will be starting class on time. This means:
  • For a 9:00am class, you are expected to be in the classroom and ready to begin by 9:00am.
  • The lecturer will not wait for latecomers, regardless of how many students are present.
  • Starting on time honours the commitment of those who arrive promptly and supports everyone’s learning experience.
If you arrive late:
  • Please let your lecturer know as a courtesy.
  • If you arrive more than 15 minutes late, you will need to wait until the next scheduled break to enter the class.
  • You will be marked absent for the portion of the day you miss.
Please make sure you allow enough time for your journey to class, so you can be part of the learning from the very start.
Thank you for your cooperation as we work together to build strong, professional habits.

Ngā mihi,

The team at ATMC NZ
